How to Apply:
The Growing Roots scholarship application process requires two steps. Applicants must first apply for SD state aid and submit proof of acceptance or rejection; a state aid rejection will not impact eligibility for a Growing Roots scholarship. After completing the state aid application, please complete our scholarship application. An independent community committee will then review all applications and determine awards.

Growing Roots Programs operate Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm every week during the school year with the exception of the dates below. We follow weather closures observed by Custer School District (morning programs will be canceled on days with delayed starts). The summer program details will be posted by March 2025.
